28th October 2008...D'day -14 days to go, still thinking if this baby will turn up during the day, at night, during the week or at the weekend. The most convenient for me and Kristina would be late on a Friday or early Saturday...but when were babies ever convenient like that:-) If it arrives on a friday or saturday - it must be a boy..just wanting to go out drinking!

Latest news September 2006......Mother and baby doing fine - the new Dad suffering from over-worked right arm (easy..) which was used to massage for 3 hours (Just done what he was told to do really!!!). Dad wondering when its his turn to do the breast-feeding :-)
Just a brief update to say that its d-day+4 ... hummm....great....
We think compared to other people that Kristina's pregnancy has been trouble-free, so we have been very lucky indeed. The only thing to say is that we always wake up at intervals during the night nowadays...maybe its preparation for those years ahead. So ... only a few days left.....
I think little'un and us will get on fine - its already kicking the proverbial out of Kristina...and then started to have a go at me....huummm..he will either be a footballer.. or she will be a domineering woman and pity the poor blokes she meets!!!! (Yes dear...I won't be condescending on the website again...I wonder where this baby gets that from...let me think..)
Okay - the second scan (approx 20 weeks) took place on the 20th April 2006...this scanning woman had a very fast hand....it looked like the baby was a blur most of the time.!!!! The good news is that everything looks okay, everything is there in the right place, and there are more photos on the Pictures page. However, we only know it was a baby - could not identify which sex it was - not that we want to know really...its only because we have a bet on the outcome:-)
The first scan was on the 1st March 2006, with an expected delivery or dropping-off point somewhere at the start of September. Hopefully in time to be one of the oldest in the school year - good grief - already thinking about school..still never mind only another 16 years and then they can support us!!!
Anyway, we have told the respective families in the U.K. and in Germany, and am finishing off telling all the friends and relatives. Talk about shock or what???!!!! :-)
